Meet Daisy Cotton

Songwriter. Storyteller. Country Soul.

Daisy Cotton is an Australian country artist with a knack for turning life’s highs and lows into songs that hit home.

Originally from Bowen, Queensland, and now based in Perth, Western Australia, Daisy draws inspiration from personal experience, the people she meets, and the stories that she collects along the way. Her music blends honest storytelling with traditional country influences, creating songs that are both deeply personal and widely relatable.

In 2023, Daisy teamed up with acclaimed songwriter and producer Bill Chambers to record her debut album, Wildfires & Daisies. The album introduced audiences to a fresh voice with a deep respect for country music's storytelling tradition.

In 2025, Daisy received the Alt-Country Song of the Year Award at the Western Australian Country Music Awards for "Walkin' Through The Fire", while "Jimmy Blue" was named a finalist in the Traditional/Heritage Song of the Year category.

Now, Daisy is preparing to release her 2026 EP, Flowers. Produced by Mark Donohoe and Australian bluegrass legend Jim Fisher, the collection brings together bluegrass influences and traditional country sounds with a distinctly Australian perspective. The EP also features acclaimed banjo player Ian Simpson and  a special duet with Donny Goodman.

With each release, Daisy continues to build a catalogue of honest, story-driven songs that reflect her love of traditional country music while embracing her own contemporary voice. As she continues to grow as a songwriter and performer, she is establishing herself as one of Western Australia's emerging artists to watch.

Flowers - it’s bluegrass meets Aussie country - with its boots kicked off, tempo high, and the drama's higher”
