"Family Tree"
1st track released from forthcoming ep, flowers
Daisy made some local friends! Teaming up with a crew of incredible WA based artists, Daisy has stepped into a fresh season of music, whilst swinging the axe on generational burdens with new single, "Family Tree."
A bluegrass-soaked country confession wrapped in scripture and sass, “Family Tree” dives into the mess and meaning of family life. “I wanted to be honest about how broken families can be,” says Daisy, “but hopeful too – that you can honour your roots and still find your own path.”
Blending American bluegrass storytelling with Aussie country soul, it’s both danceable and heartfelt, with a chorus made for singing boldly – “I wanna climb on down and set myself free!”
Streaming now on all major platforms, “Family Tree” is the first single from Daisy’s upcoming EP Flowers (2026) – music for those who stayed too long, left too soon, or prayed for a third option.

Flowers by Daisy Cotton
New music is on its way....
Daisy’s next chapter is blossoming like an eagerly awaited Spring... her upcoming EP Flowers is on its way, and it’s packed with heart, harmony, and a whole lot of bluegrass sparkle. Daisy's roped in some Aussie bluegrass legends - Jim Fisher and Ian Simpson - and even lined up a sweet lil’ duet with the one and only Donny Goodman.
Flowers was born at Jim’s kitchen table - where ideas flowed freely and life stories were shared. The tracks were brought to life across three studios: recorded at Sundown Studios, Red Tail Studios with additional tracking, mixing, and sonic magic handled by Mark Donohoe at Apollo 10 Recording Studio. Mark worked closely with Daisy and Jim to shape the sound, helping turn a shared vision into something truly special.
In Daisy’s own words:
“It’s bluegrass meets Aussie country—with its boots kicked off, tempo high, and the drama's higher”
Country's got a new wildflower - stay tuned... because you don't want to miss when Daisy's fresh music drops!
